Important Dates

Below are the notable dates for the upcoming Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

  • March 13 – Deadline for voters to use mail or internet submissions to register for participation in the Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election. After this date, electors must register in person in the municipal clerk’s office or at the polling place on Election Day.
  • March 19 – First day of in-person absentee voting at Village Hall.
  • March 28 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for regular and overseas electors to request absentee ballots by mail (online, email, or fax) for the Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election.
  • March 29 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for indefinitely confined electors and military electors, not on active duty or away from their residence, to request absentee ballots by mail (online, email, or fax) for the Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election.
  • March 29 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for electors to register to vote in the municipal clerk’s office.
  • March 29 – Last day of in-person absentee voting at Village Hall.
  • April 2 – Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election. Polling place hours: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • April 2 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for military electors on active duty away from their voting residence to request absentee ballots.
  • April 2 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for sequestered jurors to apply for an absentee ballot for the Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election.
  • April 2 – Deadline (5:00 p.m.) for hospitalized electors to file a registration form and/or apply for an absentee ballot by agent for the Presidential Preference Primary and Spring Election.
  • April 2 – Deadline (8:00 p.m.) for all absentee ballots to be delivered to the polling place.
